So, think about this if the two blind men, whose faith was most likely imperfectly formed or small, obtained what they wished. How much more effectual will now be the faith of those who, have received the Spirit of adoption (according to Romans 8:15) and rely on the sacrifice of Christ, shall approach God, and obtain what they need?.
I believe my need drives me to faith, to need sometimes expresses urgent want, pressing exigency. Jesus has the capacity and power to fulfill your need if you believe. It is not enough just to have faith you have faith in His power. Hence the question “Do you believe I am Able to do this?”
In Chapter 8 a leper met Jesus. He said, “Lord if You are willing, You can make me clean” (v. 2). This man believed in Jesus’ power but was not sure He would use that power for his sake. The Bible says Jesus said, “I am willing” and reached out and touched the leper and healed him. A Roman officer met Jesus and asked Him to heal his servant. Christ offered to go with the Roman, who declined. “I do not deserve to have You come under my roof” (v. 8). Instead, the Roman asked Jesus merely to speak the word. Jesus spoke; the servant was healed. JESUS IS ABLE.
Whatever the circumstance, the situation, or need is Jesus is able. I don’t know how He will do it, I believe He has the power to do it, HE is ABLE!!. My God is on the move and there is nothing He cannot do.
So, if we pray in faith believing in the power of Jesus, not wavering we will never sustain a refusal in our prayers. (John 14:14, Matt 7:7, James 5:15) “Do you believe I am Able to do this?” YES, LORD, I believe. Glory to God !!! @RCPRayer
